Ministry of Interior- MOI announced on, Tuesday that the final stages of receiving the security file have been reached.
Ministry spokesman Brigadier General Mekdad Miri told the Iraqi news agency (INA) that" The issue of receiving the security file in the provinces has reached its final stages, after the formation of a higher security committee that conducted several rounds, studies and full preparations”, indicating that "in the near future, the security file will be received in the provinces from all sectors”.
He added that “The most important challenges facing us are drugs in addition to criminal offenses”, noting that "we exert the utmost efforts in this regard".
He added that "The ministry achieved great effort in combating drugs this year compared to previous years”.
Regarding the criminal crime, Miri stressed that" There is a great work on criminal crime ", affirming that “Baghdad witnessed a significant decrease in crime rate”.
“MOI adopted modern mechanisms in the field of crime detection,” he continued.
Meri added that " The technology was used to detect crime and using modern tracking and surveillance devices, and others, in addition to ambushes, Intelligence Surveillance and collecting information about criminals and others, even in the field of electronic extortion " , stressing that “there is careful monitoring of internet sites and pages”.
