FIIA: Arrests 7 terrorists in Nineveh

Federal intelligence and investigations agency FIIA announced on, Sunday, the arrested of 7 terrorists in Nineveh province
 
The agency said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) that "The detachments of the intelligence agency specialized in combating terrorism in Nineveh governorate were able, based on accurate intelligence information regarding the presence of seven wanted persons in accordance with the provisions of Article 4 of the fight against terrorism in various areas in Nineveh Governorate”.
 
It added that “An Intelligence Task Force was immediately formed to collect information and conduct the necessary investigations, and seven suspects were arrested in a tight ambush".
 
It pointed out that "through the investigation with the defendants, they openly admitted that they belonged to ISIS gangs within the so-called (Diwan Al-Jund, al-Furqan squad, army of Asra, Al-kawaser squad, artillery battalion and real estate Bureau) and they were paid for belonging to ISIS terrorist gangs sums of money, and their statements were recorded and referred to the concerned authorities ready to appear before the judiciary to get their fair punishment”.
