The First Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives and head of the Iraqi delegation participating in the thirty-fifth emergency conference of the Arab Parliamentary Union, Mohsen Al-Mandalawi, called today, Wednesday, for urgent action to stop the aggression against Gaza, pointing out that the Baptist Hospital massacre is a full-fledged war crime.
The media office of the First Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that “The First Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Mohsen Al-Mandalawi, headed, today, Wednesday, the Iraqi parliamentary delegation participating in the work of the thirty-fifth emergency conference of the Arab Parliamentary Union, which is being held in the capital, Baghdad, to discuss events in Palestine.
Al-Mandalawi said during his Iraq speech, “Palestine is the first pivotal issue, and what is happening there requires a unified, firm, courageous and exceptional position,” noting that “the occupation authorities committed a full-fledged war crime by bombing the Baptist Hospital in Gaza, targeting the wounded patients, women, the elderly, and children and the medical staff, in an act that brings shame to humanity.”
