A drug dealer arrested in Dhi Qar

The General Directorate of Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Affairs of the Ministry of Interior announced Wednesday, arresting a drug dealer after clashing with and injuring him in Dhi Qar.
 
The Directorate said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "a special force from the General Directorate of Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Affairs in the Ministry of Interior, clashed with drug traffickers in Dhi Qar, and was able to injure one of the wanted according to the provisions of Article (28) drugs and arrest him red-handed after attacking the members of the force with explosive hand grenades."
 
 
The statement added that "a seizure report was prepared with the explosive bombs that were in his possession, and legal measures were taken against him in accordance with the Law on Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances No. 50 of 2017."
