German Chancellor congratulates Abdul Mahdi

Prime Minister Adel Abdul Mahdi received a cable of congratulations from German Chancellor Angela Merkel on the occasion of the formation of the government, wishing him success in his mission, stressing Germany's support for the new government in various fields.

In a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), the cable of congratulations from Merkel to Abdul Mahdi, during which she confirmed Germany's support for Iraq in overcoming the challenges ahead.Germany's confidence continues to be closely linked with Iraq, Merkel said, and her country is ready to provide more support during the next stage.
