The supreme religious authority, extended on Wednesday, condolences to the bereaved families in the incident of the Al-Hamdaniya fire.
The Office of the supreme religious authority, Sayyed Ali al-Sistani in Najaf, said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) that "the supreme religious authority expresses deep sorrow and regret for the terrible fire incident that occurred in Al-Hamdaniya district and resulted in hundreds of victims and injured.
The office added that "the authority offers its condolences to the bereaved families and expresses its solidarity with them, and asks Almighty Allah to bind their hearts with patience and include the victims with his mercy and grant the injured a speedy recovery, there is no might and no power except by Allah.”
