The head of the Counter-Terrorism Service, Lieutenant General Abdel-Wahhab Al-Saadi, discussed on Tuesday, with the British Minister of State for Security Affairs, Tom Tugendhat the exchange of experiences and information.
A statement by the Counter-Terrorism Agency, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), stated that "the head of the Counter-Terrorism Agency, Lieutenant General Abdul-Wahhab Al-Saadi, received the British Minister of State for Security Affairs, Tom Tugendhat, and his accompanying delegation."
The statement added that "the meeting discussed methods of joint cooperation in the field of exchanging experiences and information in the field of combating terrorism and how to reduce it."
It continued, "The two sides stressed the importance of counter-terrorism operations, after the completion of the liberation of cities, based on accurate intelligence efforts that are carried out using specialized, professional methods that are characterized by sudden and proactive factors."
