FIIA captures a dangerous terrorist in Diyala

The Security Media Cell-SMC announced on Tuesday, the arrest of an accused of murder, transferring weapons and money to ISIS terrorist gangs, and involvement in human trafficking and selling human organs in Diyala.
 
“The detachments of Federal Investigation and Intelligence Agency-FIIA in Diyala received accurate information about the whereabouts of a dangerous terrorist within the province, whereby an intelligence work team was formed and an elaborate ambush was carried out," SMC stated in a statement, received by The Iraqi News Agency-INA.
 
"The accused's statements were recorded and he confessed killing one of his relatives by poison, and then he hid the body with garbage bags and buried it in a cemetery in Diyala governorate, which came in accordance with the stages of the investigation in revealing evidence when the body was exhumed, and then bargained with his relatives for sums of money in return for handing him over to them,” the statement continued. Noting that "the accused participated in transferring weapons and money to ISIS gangs, and his involvement in human trafficking and the sale of their organs."
 
 
"The accused's statements were written down after he confessed to his heinous actions and was referred to the competent authorities to receive his just punishment," the statement continued
 
It’s to be mentioned that the accused descends from a terrorist father sentenced to death for his participation in the detonation of a booby-trapped car that targeted citizens in Diyala Governorate in the Jdeidet Al-Shatt area in 2016.
