FIIA: 404 terrorists, drug dealers and drug users arrested within a week

The Federal Investigation and Intelligence Agency-FIIA announced on Saturday, the arrest of 404 terrorists, drug dealers and drug users within a week.

“The total number of terrorist members that were arrested for the period from 7/13/2023 to 7/20/2023 reached to 86 terrorists, while the number of drug dealers and drug users reached to 318, in addition to 998 others on different charges and 3 infiltrators of Arab and foreign nationalities," According to an official statistic published by FIIA, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA).

FIIA pointed out that "126 different weapons, 12 IEDs and three hideouts were found," noting that "255.4 narcotic pills, more than 10 kilograms of narcotic crystal meth, 78 tons of smuggled medicines were confiscated, 26 unlicensed pharmacies and 15 industrial fraud factories were discovered, in addition to finding seven sites used for smuggling oil and its derivatives, and 20 vehicles were confiscated."
