Baghdad Intelligence Captures a terrorist south of Baghdad

The Baghdad Intelligence and Counter-Terrorism Directorate, Al-Karkh, announced on Monday, the capture of a terrorist, south of the capital.

A statement of the Directorate, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), stated that "according to the directives of the Minister of Interior in activating the intelligence effort and under the supervision of the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior for Intelligence and Federal Investigations, and in conjunction with the approaching days of the month of Muharram, a force from the Baghdad Intelligence and Counter-Terrorism Directorate managed to throw Capturing one of the wanted targets.

The statement added, "The process of arresting this suspect came in accordance with the provisions of Article 4 of terrorism, south of the capital, Baghdad, after setting up an elaborate ambush for him and tracking his movement."

It continued, "The necessary legal measures have been taken against him to complete his investigative papers in an accurate manner."
