French President Emmanuel Macron announced before the NATO summit in Vilnius that France had decided to provide Kiev with new long-range missiles that would allow Ukrainian forces to strike deep into Russia.
Macron said in a press release today, Tuesday, "I have decided to increase the supply of weapons to Ukraine to allow the Ukrainians to strike (Russian) depth, as we adhere to our doctrine, which aims to allow Ukraine to defend its territory."
Today, Tuesday, the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) summit, which will last for two days, kicked off in Vilnius, amid tense international conditions over the Ukraine crisis.
It is expected that the Ukrainian crisis and the Russian military operation in Ukraine will be at the top of the agenda of the summit.
