Capturing 8 terrorists in three governorates, DMI reports

The Military Intelligence Directorate-DMI announced on Saturday, the arrest of 8 terrorists in three governorates.

“With a separate operation and determined efforts, and based on accurate intelligence information of the Seventh, Eighth, Tenth, Eleventh, and Seventeenth Divisions of the Military Intelligence Directorate, and in cooperation with the security forces deployed in the area, tight ambushes were set up in the Al-Rashad area, Yusufiyah, the village of Maratah Al-Kabira, and the check point of Al-Tahadi, Jabab, and the martyr Aws Aziz,” stated DMI in a statement, received by the Iraqi News Agency-INA.

The statement added, "The operation resulted in the arrest of 8 terrorists wanted by the Judiciary in accordance with the provisions of Article 4 Anti- Terrorism Law in the regions of Al-Qaim, Kirkuk, Ramadi, Fallujah, Daquq and Yusufiyah," noting that "the accused were handed over to the requesting authorities."
