Al-Araji calls for concerted international efforts to face the challenge of the survival of Al-Hol camp

    National Security Adviser, Qassim Al-Araji, called on Wednesday, for concerted international efforts to confront the challenge of survival the Syrian Al-Hol camp in its current state.

    The media office of the National Security Adviser stated, in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "Al-Araji met today Wednesday, Ian Moss, Deputy Coordinator of the Counter-Terrorism Office / Head of the United States delegation to the Third United Nations Conference on Counter-Terrorism held in New York."

    The statement added, "During the meeting, developments in the political and security scene at the regional and international levels were reviewed, as well as the continuation of partnership and cooperation in the field of combating terrorism."

    Al-Araji explained, according to the statement, "Iraq's vision and firm approach to maintaining the security and stability of the region and the world, by strengthening partnership with the international community, to face challenges."

    The statement stressed, "The importance of uniting everyone's efforts to overcome challenges, especially the challenge of keeping the Syrian al-Hol camp in its current state, which as a result poses a threat to everyone, calling on partners and friends from countries for more support in this file."
