The Minister of Migration and Displacement, Evan Faiq Jabro, confirmed today, Tuesday, that she will not abandon her national and humanitarian responsibilities towards the Iraqis abroad.
Jabro said, in a statement on the occasion of World Refugee Day, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): "The world's governments must pay attention to the suffering of millions of people who have been pushed by harsh conditions to migrate from their homelands and seek asylum."
She added, "As far as it is concerned with us as Iraqis, our hopes that no Iraqi will be forced to migrate, and we will not abandon our national and humanitarian responsibilities towards the Iraqis abroad."
