8 suspects arrested, including one sentenced to death in absentia: FIIA

The Federal investigation and Intelligence Agency-FIIA announced on Tuesday, the arrest of 8 suspects, one of them was sentenced to death in Najaf Province.
"FIIA detachments in Al-Najaf Governorate managed to arrest a number of wanted and accused persons according to various legal articles," stated FIIA in a statement, received by The Iraqi News Agency-INA.
"The detachments were able to arrest a suspect sentenced to death in absentia, and (4) accused of dealing in narcotic substances, with the seizure of shops selling unlicensed weapons, and (3) according to Article 406," the statement continued.
