Al-Hakim calls for an expanded dialogue that includes the major countries of the region to achieve permanent stability

    The head of the Wisdom Movement, Amar al-Hakim, called today, Monday, for an expanded dialogue that includes the major countries of the region to achieve lasting stability.
     
    Al-Hakim said, in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), "We met with the head of the Strategic Council for Iranian Foreign Relations and former Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran Kamal Kharazi in the presence of the Iranian Ambassador Muhammad Kazim Al Sadiq, and we exchanged views on developments in the political situation in the region, and the interrelationship between Iraq and Iran at the diplomatic and popular level.
     
      "We praised the language of dialogue prevalent in the region and the mutual visits, and renewed the call for an expanded dialogue that includes the major countries of the region to achieve lasting stability and enable people to enjoy the bounties of their countries, as well as to neutralize the region from international conflict." Al-Hakim said.
     
    "We clarified the nature of the current changes," noting that "Iraq is going through an unprecedented positive phase."
     
    Al-Hakim called on everyone to "support the state of stability that Iraq is witnessing, because of its role in supporting the stability of the region."
