Head of IMN: The activities of the armed forces receive great attention

The head of the Iraqi Media Network (IMN), Dr. Nabil Jassem, and the Minister of Defense, Thabet Al-Abbasi, urged on Monday, cooperation in the media field, while Dr. Nabil Jassim confirmed that the activities of the armed forces receive great attention from all the network's institutions.
 
This came during a meeting with the head of the Iraqi Media Network, Dr. Nabil Jassim, with Defense Minister Thabet Al-Abbasi, where they discussed means of media cooperation.
 
It was agreed to strengthen bilateral cooperation in a way that serves the public interest of the country and in accordance with the terms of reference assigned to each institution in accordance with the law.
 
Dr. Nabil Jassim pointed to "the need to support the heroics of the armed forces of all kinds, especially as they confront terrorism and thwart all its despicable attempts," pointing out that "the activities of the armed forces receive great attention in all institutions of the Iraqi Media Network, and that supporting these activities represents a national duty and at the heart of the network's competencies."
 
For his part, Minister of Defense Thabet Al-Abbasi expressed his thanks to the network's head and the efforts of its employees, stressing that "the media discourse of the network's institutions is patriotic and characterized by its credibility and reliability with the public."
 
He stressed "the importance of the media's role in supporting the Iraqi army's heroism against terrorism and addressing rumors."
