Bin Salman declaring approval of the final statement of the Jeddah Declaration

    Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman concluded today, Friday, the work of the Arab summit, by announcing the approval of the final statement of the Jeddah Declaration by the participants in the summit.

    The 32nd session of the Arab summit, which was held in Jeddah, concluded in the presence of Arab presidents, kings, ministers, and a group of political and media figures.

    Today, Friday, in the Saudi city of Jeddah, the work of the Arab summit began at the level of kings and presidents, with the participation of Prime Minister Muhammad Shia'a al-Sudani.

    The draft final statement of the Arab summit, which was seen by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), included "support for Iraq and condemnation of the incursion of Turkish forces into Iraqi territory, and a demand for the Turkish government to withdraw its forces without conditions, and an emphasis on the centrality of the Palestinian cause to the entire Arab nation, and the Arab identity of Jerusalem as the capital of a state.".

     Palestine, in addition to urging the Lebanese authorities to continue efforts to elect a president for the country and form a government as soon as possible.

    The draft also included renewing commitment to preserving Syria's sovereignty, territorial integrity and stability, intensifying efforts to help it get out of its crisis, supporting the Syrian people, affirming full solidarity in preserving the sovereignty and independence of Sudan and its territorial integrity, adhering to the unity, sovereignty and territorial integrity of Libya, rejecting all types of external interference, refraining from escalation and adhering to the unity of the country, Yemen's sovereignty and continued support.
    The draft statement also included, "Welcoming the agreement reached between Saudi Arabia and Iran, which includes resuming diplomatic relations, reopening their missions, activating the security and economic cooperation agreement between the two countries, and condemning all forms of criminal operations launched by terrorist organizations."
