Chargé d'Affaires ad interim Moqdad Ayoub al-Mandalawi participated on Monday in the return march organized by the Palestinian embassy.

Al-Mandalawi said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) that "a number of staff of the Iraqi embassy in Warsaw participated in the return march organized by the embassy of the State of Palestine, with the wide participation of Arab and foreign ambassadors and diplomats, Arab communities and Polish citizens who support the Palestinian cause."

The Chargé d'affaires ad interim reiterated "Iraq's position in support of the cause of the brotherly Palestinian people, its affirmation of the restoration of the usurped rights of the Palestinian people, and its rejection of the practices of the usurping Zionist entity."

He pointed out that "the march, which started from the Palm Roundabout, in the center of the Polish capital, coincided with the 75th anniversary of the Nakba in 1948," noting that "the march witnessed a speech by the Ambassador of the State of Palestine, Mahmoud Khalifa, in which he stressed the right of the Palestinian people to return and rejected the Zionist practices against them."
