General Directorate of Intelligence and Security announced the seizure of 20 narcotic pills and a kilogram of crystal.

The directorate said, in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "according to accurate intelligence information and through a tight ambush, the detachments of the Babel Intelligence and Security Directorate affiliated to the General Directorate of Intelligence and Security at the Ministry of Defense managed to arrest two suspects in possession of 20,000 narcotic pills and a kilo of The narcotic crystal while they were trying to cross the control of Al-Hamza Al-Gharbi.

The statement added, "They were duly handed over with the seized items to the competent authorities."
