PM: Iraq is continuing regional economic communication

The Prime Minister, Muhammad Shia'a Al-Sudani, affirmed today, Saturday, that Iraq is continuing regional economic communication.

The media office of the Prime Minister said
in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): "The Prime Minister, Muhammad Shia' al-Sudani, received the Lebanese Minister of Energy and Water, Walid Fayyad, and the Deputy Director of the Lebanese State Security, Mr. Hassan Shuqair," pointing out, "During the meeting, Reviewing the various aspects of cooperation between Iraq and Lebanon, for the benefit of the two brotherly peoples, and ways to develop bilateral relations at all levels.

During the meeting, the Prime Minister stressed, according to the statement, that "Iraq is continuing regional economic communication, in the field of energy and plans to confront climate changes and their environmental and economic effects, in a way that supports stability and economic growth for the Iraqi people and for all brotherly and friendly peoples.".

For his part, the Lebanese minister conveyed "his government's assurances and its keenness to strengthen cooperation with Iraq in the fields of development and the continuation of partnership and exchange to promote common interests and confront global economic challenges."
