Foreign Ministry spokesman Ahmed al-Sahaf counted on Sunday the number of citizens evacuated from Sudan.
Al-Sahaf told the Iraqi News Agency (INA) that "269 citizens have been evacuated from Sudan so far, including 16 Syrian citizens and the majority are Iraqis."
It is noteworthy that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced earlier the evacuation of many Iraqi citizens in Sudan under the guidance of Prime Minister Mohamed Shia Al-Sudani, due to the fatal events taking place in a number of Sudanese cities.
