JOC: The development of security and intelligence capabilities prevented any terrorist act

    The Joint Operations Command confirmed that the development of security and intelligence capabilities blocked the path to terrorism.

    The spokesman for the Joint Operations Command, Major General Tahsin Al-Khafaji, told the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "the great effort made by the security forces in Nineveh, southwest Kirkuk, Diyala, Salah al-Din, and other regions, blocked the way for the remnants of ISIS terrorist gangs and prevented them from carrying out any terrorist act." .

    He added, "The security situation in the country is currently good and much better than before, and the security forces have high capabilities that were reinforced by the development of intelligence and concerted efforts to prevent ISIS gangs from committing any violations during the month of Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr."

    He continued, "The security forces carried out searches, searches, chases, raids, and pursuit of smuggling gangs, outlaws, and wanted persons.

     The security that all governorates currently enjoy came due to the sacrifices of the security forces, and they continue to achieve security."

    Al-Khafaji stressed that "this year will be distinguished in strengthening security and chasing down anyone who harms the security and independence of Iraq."
