Anti-Terrorism Service: 4 wanted persons were arrested in Nineveh, Anbar and Sulaymaniyah

    The Counter-Terrorism Service announced today, Tuesday, the arrest of four wanted persons in Nineveh, Anbar and Sulaymaniyah, and find of a cache of ammunition.
     
     
    The agency stated in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): "Based on the directives of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Muhammad Shia' al-Sudani, on the necessity to maintain security operations for the heroes of our apparatus, and with the direct supervision of the head of the Anti-Terrorism Agency, Lieutenant General Abdul-Wahhab Al-Saadi, our heroes began to implement a series of operations in various regions of Iraq".
     According to the statement "One of the wanted persons was arrested in Fallujah - Saqlawiyah, and on duty to find a stockpile of ammunition in Nineveh Governorate, in Al-Ayadhiyah district, mortar bombs, rocket launchers, and various ammunition were found."
      "As part of operations to maintain coordination with the Sulaymaniyah Anti-Terrorism Regiment, two wanted persons were arrested in Sulaymaniyah Governorate, to conclude the operations of our apparatus' heroes by arresting one of the wanted persons in Nineveh Governorate."
    The statement noted that "the heroes of the Anti-Terrorism Service are always ready to confront terrorism and carry out preemptive operations in all sectors of responsibility."
