Rashid: We stress significance of reform and addressing imbalance in political process

President Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid stressed Saturday the importance of reform and addressing the imbalance in the political process.

The President of the Republic said, during a celebration of the 42nd anniversary of the founding of the Badr Organization, which was monitored by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): "We stress the importance of reform and addressing the imbalance in the political process."

He added, "The country must be immunized from the dangers of terrorism and achieve economic growth by achieving security and stability," noting that "the important goal is to consolidate security."

He stressed "the importance of enhancing joint action between the parliamentary forces to legislate laws that strengthen the national economy and face challenges, including the climate file and the repercussions surrounding the region."
