To end crimes.. Kirkuk supports security forces with drones and a thermal cameras system

    The Governor of Kirkuk, Rakan Saeed Al-Jubouri, announced Thursday the allocation of 13 billion Iraqi dinars from the amounts of the Emergency Support for Food Security and Development Law, to support the security forces in the province and secure their needs, indicating that the support included equipping with drones and a system of thermal cameras.

     Al-Jubouri told the Iraqi News Agency (INA): "The Kirkuk administration has allocated 13 billion Iraqi dinars to support the security forces and secure their necessary needs to confront ISIS terrorist gangs and enhance security in the province."

     He added, "The support includes equipping the advanced headquarters command with drones and installing a thermal camera system to reduce crimes, in addition to building appropriate headquarters for the security forces."

     Al-Jubouri added, "Kirkuk is ready to provide all the needs of the security forces," noting, "The province is proud of our heroic security forces and appreciates their role and sacrifices in confronting terrorist gangs and imposing security and stability in the province."

     He pointed to "the efforts and sacrifices of the security forces from the army, the police, the popular mobilisation forces and other agencies," noting "the need to use technology to detect the movements of terrorist gangs and pursue organized crime and drug dealers."
