The President of the Supreme Judicial Council arrives in Abu Dhabi

    The President of the Supreme Judicial Council, Faiq Zaidan, arrived today, Wednesday, in Abu Dhabi on an official visit, headed by a government delegation.
     
    The media center of the council said, in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "the President of the Supreme Judicial Council, Faiq Zaidan, arrived in Abu Dhabi at the head of a high-level judicial delegation upon an official invitation," noting that "the Minister of Justice and the head of the federal judiciary in the United Arab Emirates Abdullah bin Sultan bin Awad Al-Nuaimi, President of the Federal Supreme Court, Mohammed bin Hamad Al-Badi Al-Dhaheri, and the Iraqi ambassador to Abu Dhabi, Dr. Muzaffar Mustafa, were receiving him.
     
    "The Minister of Justice and the President of the UAE Federal Judiciary had invited the President of the Supreme Judicial Council to visit the United Arab Emirates to discuss aspects of joint cooperation in the judicial field between the two countries."
     
      "The delegation accompanying the council president included the head of the Public Prosecution, Najm Abdullah Ahmed, the head of the Judicial Oversight Authority, Laith Jabr Hamza, and the Director General of the Administrative and Financial Department, Mona Abdul Hussein."
