The Commander-In-Chief of the Armed Forces approves establishing a second police college in Basra

    Prime Minister, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Mohammed S. Al-Sudani, approved on Saturday, the establishment of the Second Police College in the Basra Governorate to provide the staff of the Ministry of Interior with officers and to accommodate the courses and classes that open annually.
     
    The Media Office of the Prime Minister said in a statement, received by the Iraqi news agency (INA) that “The prime minster directed his team to prepare an independent organizational structure commensurate with its tasks and duties for the new college following the Police College Law No. 37 of 2000.”
     
    The statement continued, “The new college will have an independent financial budget and will be linked to the office of the Minister of Interior, like the current Police College”.
