Iraqi-German agreement to transfer "Elatec" technology to Diyala State Company

The Minister of Industry and Minerals, Khaled Battal Al-Najm, agreed today, Thursday, with the German company Elatec to transfer its expertise and technological capabilities to the Diyala State Company.

The Ministry of Industry and Minerals stated, in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "during his current visit to Germany, accompanied by the Director General of Diyala State Company, Abd al-Sattar Mikhlif, Al-Najm was briefed on the laboratories of the German Elatec company and its capabilities in the field of manufacturing and producing secondary and mobile stations, (Kiosk), control panels and the (E-house) system.
Тhey also discussed the possibility of joint cooperation between the German company and Diyala State Company in light of the latter's industrial base and great engineering and technical expertise to meet the requirements and needs of the Ministry of Electricity from the aforementioned stations and systems, and the two parties agreed on joint work and transfer of manufacturing technology to stations and electrical systems.
