The Syrian Ministry of Health announced today, Monday, that 371 people died and 1,089 were injured in the governorates of Aleppo, Lathikia, Hama and Tartous as a result of the earthquake.
The ministry stated to the media that "371 died today, in addition to 1,089 injured as a result of the earthquake in the governorates of Aleppo, Latakia, Hama and Tartous."
The Ministry of Health confirmed that "it was decided to stop the Baniyas oil refinery for 48 hours," indicating that "this came to deal with the earthquake damage."
