Al-Shammari, Koman discuss the exchange of experiences

    The Minister of Interior, Abdul Amir Al-Shammari, met Saturday with the Secretary-General of the Council of Arab Interior Ministers, Muhammad bin Ali Koman, and the Director of the Arab Office, Major General Muhammad Jamal.

    A statement of the Ministry of Interior, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), stated that "The Minister of Interior, Abdul Amir al-Shammari, met with the Secretary-General of the Council of Arab Interior Ministers, Muhammad bin Ali Koman, and the Director of the Arab Office, Major General Muhammad Jamal, in the presence of the ministry's leaders and a number of officers."

    The statement added that "Al-Shammari discussed during the meeting a number of issues of common interest, as the topics that will be presented at the next meeting of the Council of Arab Interior Ministers in the Republic of Tunisia were discussed, and the continuation of activating the work of the Arab office in the capital, Baghdad, in addition to opening prospects for cooperation significantly between the Iraqi Ministry of Interior and the Council.

    He pointed out that "the meeting witnessed a group of discussions on exchanging experiences and enhancing cooperation, in addition to other important issues."

    Koman praised the Iraqi security establishment and its history.
