The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research-MOHESR announced on Friday, that the scholarships for international students are available as well as the seats for non-Iraqis, while noting that the process of evaluating universities is conducted in accordance with international classification standards.
The ministry's spokesman, Haider Al-Aboudi, told the Iraqi News Agency (INA): "The ministry announced the availability of scholarships for international students and the provision of seats for non-Iraqi students, pointing out that "the international (capacity) is a percentage measured on the percentage of students and the percentage of international professors, and all the required conditions are available in Iraqi universities."
Iraqi universities have made positive strides in terms of attracting students and faculty and creating an environment for interaction to provide all solutions, Al-Aboudi added.
