Ministry of the Interior announced on Saturday, the installation of sonar devices on external roads to monitor cases of smuggling hard currency.
"The Ministry of Interior, in coordination with the Kurdistan Regional Government of Iraq, is proceeding to install sonar devices on the external roads that connect the governorates to monitor cases of foreign currency smuggling and to hold speculators accountable according to the law," according to a statement by the ministry, received by the Iraqi News Agency - INA.
