The Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced on Monday, that Iraq won membership in the Executive Council of the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA) for the year 2023.
The ministry's spokesman, Ahmed Al-Sahaf, said in a statement, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): "Iraq wins membership in the Executive Council of the International Renewable Energy Agency for the year 2023."
The Statement added, "Also, Iraq won the position of Vice President of the Agency's General Assembly for the year 2024."
