FIIA arrests a dangerous gang carried out murders and robberies in two provinces

announced on Sunday the arrest of a dangerous gang that carried out murders and robberies in two provinces.
  
According to a statement by FIIA received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), "the Federal Intelligence and Investigation Agency in the Ministry of Interior, in a qualitative operation targeting a very dangerous gang active in Dhi Qar and Maysan province, committed murders, kidnappings and theft against innocent citizens, arrest warrants and fundamental investigation were issued against them for these crimes, but they hide from the security services and move between the two provinces with false identities."
 
It added that “FIIA was able to monitor their movements and after planning the operation was carried out, and efforts resulted in the arrest of 7 defendants in Maysan province after clashing with them with firearms, where these weapons were seized in their possession," stressing that "all necessary legal measures have been taken."
