Minister of Migration and Displaced, Evan Faiq Jabro, ordered on Thursday to increase the share of heating oil for the displaced.
The Ministry of Migration stated, in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "Minister Evan Faeq Jabro, ordered the ministry's departments in all governorates to continue distributing heating oil among the camps for the displaced, and to increase the share of processing the displaced to 100 liters instead of 50 liters monthly ".
The statement added: "The ministry's department in Erbil Governorate distributed (40) thousand liters of heating oil in cooperation with the Oil Products Distribution Company, as it included about (400) displaced families in Khazer camp (east of Mosul), at a rate of 100 liters for each displaced family."
"Providing fuel for the displaced families comes in the context of the ministry's unlimited support for these families and to ease the burdens on the displaced with the cold winter weather," the statement continued.
