Iraq won on Thursday, two important awards from the League of Arab States in the second round of the Arab Government Excellence Award, the first was devoted to youth employment innovation, and the second was the best distinguished employee.
The spokesman for the General Secretariat of the cabinet, Haider Majeed, told the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "Iraq won two important awards from the League of Arab States in the second session of the Arab Government Excellence Award, sponsored by the Vice President of the UAE, Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai, Sheikh Mohammed, bin Rashid Al Maktoum, and prizes were distributed to the winners from the Arab countries."
Majeed added, "What has been achieved is a great achievement that is credited to Iraq, which participated in this important Arab competition, and won two awards within the Arab Excellence Competition, namely: (Youth Employment Innovation, and the Best Distinguished Employee)," noting that "the two awards are from the share of the Ministry of Industry and Minerals."
He pointed out that "measures taken by the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers, where we participated in this important competition, which is an important incentive for the employee and the Iraqi citizen, and this achievement is considered among the important achievements that Iraq seeks to contribute to in terms of participation in all Arab and international forums, and we are preparing for tomorrow Friday, for the launch of a major sporting event in Basra Al-Khair, which is Gulf (25), which the Iraqis have been waiting for a lot, and it will be supportive of Iraq, which deserves these achievements."
