New Zealanders celebrated the advent of the New Year 2023, with the advent of their Sunday, local time, while countries in other regions of the world continue their tireless preparations to start a new year.
The adopted time in New Zealand, which is located in a remote point of the earth, is (GMT + 13) , that is, 13 hours in addition to the Greenwich Mean Time.
New Zealanders used to celebrate the New Year before its advent in most other regions of the world, but nevertheless, the country is not the first.
Samoa and Kiribati, located in the South Pacific Ocean, are the first two countries that will celebrate the New Year 2023, according to National Geographic .
Some countries do not receive the New Year at one time, because the timing differs from one region to another, as is the case in vast countries such as the United States, China and Australia .
