Jabro: Security checks have been completed 700 IDPs to return them to Jurf Al-Nasr

    The Minister of Migration and Displacement, Evan Faeq Jabro, announced the completion of a security audit of about 700 displaced families to return them to Jurf al-Nasr, in northern Babil Governorate, while confirming the existence of a comprehensive political agreement to return all those who were displaced from the district.

    Jabro told the Iraqi News Agency (INA): "The Ministry of Immigration is working within the government program on the file of integration, which is stability in the area of displacement, and more than 1,000 families have been integrated in the center and south," stressing that "the process is underway in all regions.".

    She added, "The ministry is with the desire of any person to settle in the region he desires," explaining that "the displaced families in the Kurdistan region, if they desire integration and stability, the ministry will work to coordinate with the regional government regarding them, and in the event of a desire to return to their areas of origin, it is the duty of The government will provide all conditions for her return to her original areas.

    Regarding the displaced from Jurf al-Nasr district, Jabro confirmed that she "met with all concerned parties, including the political one, and gave prior approval for the return of all Jurf al-Nasr residents to their areas, within a comprehensive political agreement," noting that "the ministry determined the numbers of families wishing to return, and they were checked by security As it reached between 500-700 families, ready and security-checked, the names were handed over to all concerned authorities to return them.”
