Child trafficking gang arrested in Babil: INSS

The Iraqi National Security Service (INSS) announced on Sunday, the arrest of a child trafficking gang in Babil.

"With intelligence and field efforts, INSS continues to pursue organized crime gangs, and on basis of receiving accurate intelligence information about a three-person child trafficking gang and after obtaining judicial approvals, INSS detachments in Babil province were able to lure the accused and arrest them while trying to sell a child for (35) million dinars," INSS said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA).
 
The statement added that "the statements of the accused were duly recorded to take legal measures against them."
