The head of the National State Forces Alliance, Sayyed Ammar al-Hakim confirmed in a statement received by the Iraqi news agency INA, the necessity of passing the Capital Law and development plan of Baghdad, stressing the importance of providing basic services and paying attention to public squares, vintage houses and tourist areas in Baghdad.
Al-Hakim said that he had a meeting with Baghdad’s mayor Musa Kazdhim, in which they discussed the plans of the municipality to develop the services that must meet the needs of the capital’s size and status.
He also stressed that the projects which fell behind should be completed, affirming the need to approve the capital law which was supported at the parliament, and the importance of approving the development plan for the capital Baghdad 2050.
