MOC: We are continuing to improve the competitive environment for FTTH projects

The Minister of Communications, Hiyam Al-Yasiri, confirmed today, Thursday, that the ministry is continuing to improve the competitive environment among private sector companies implementing FTTH projects in Baghdad and the provinces.

The ministry stated in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): "Al-Yasiri met with representatives of the private sector companies implementing FTTH projects in the presence of the advanced staff in the ministry.".

Al-Yasiri said, according to the statement, that "one of the priorities of our next work is to develop a new policy for these projects, as well as to form follow-up teams for projects consisting of a number of engineers in the ministry to follow up the progress of work and transfer problems and obstacles from the workplace to officials in the ministry.".

She pointed to "the importance of emphasizing the work done by these companies and communicating with them in the interest of the ministry and contribute to providing the best services to citizens."
