SMC: The Green Zone and its surroundings were targeted by 9 rockets

    INA-  BAGHDAD

    Security Media Cell SMC announced Thursday that the Green Zone and its surroundings in the capital, Baghdad, were bombed with 9 Katyusha rockets.

     A statement by SMC, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), stated that "the Green Zone and its surroundings in the capital, Baghdad, were bombed by 9 Katyusha rockets."

     The statement added, " the bombing resulted in the injury of a number of members of the security services and citizens."
