The Civil Aviation Authority clarified ,today, Friday, the mechanism of contracting with security companies at Baghdad International Airport, while the details of the contract with the alternative company for G4S were indicated .
A spokesman for the Civil Aviation Authority, Jihad Al-Diwan, told the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "the mechanism for selecting companies takes place by announcing a tender, after which the requests and bids are studied and awarded to a specific company, provided that the required specifications meet the required specifications," noting that "there are two analysis and bid committees." The company is selected through them according to the administrations in force in the Civil Aviation Authority.
Regarding the termination of the GS4 contract, he stated that "the company's contract has expired, and the Canadian company (Business Intel) was chosen as an alternative and at a lower price than the previous one, and it started working since last September 30."
