WHO: The arrival of the seasonal flu vaccine

The Ministry of Health announced the arrival of the seasonal flu vaccine.

The Director of the General Company for Marketing Drugs and Medical Supplies in the Ministry, Ali Hassan Al-Baldawi, said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "a shipment of (15045) doses of seasonal influenza vaccine has arrived, which is given to people to protect them from infection with the influenza virus or the most vulnerable people." To have health problems when infected with influenza, such as the elderly and people with medical conditions such as asthma or diabetes, in order to reduce the complications of this infection.

The Ministry added that "the shipments were unloaded in the company's warehouses for distribution to health institutions, after they succeeded in the analysis."
