The Civil Defense Directorate announced on Saturday the rescue of 13 people who was trapped in the collapsed building in Karrada district.
A statement from the Civil Defense Directorate received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) stated that “ Civil Defense teams managed to save 13 people” pointing out that “ rescue operations are still ongoing” The statement pointed out that “ CDD is dealing with the collapse of a building and rescuing the trapped people in Karadda districts in the center of capital Baghdad”
“The teams are continuing their work to rescue trapped people in the building “ the statement added.
