The Acting Minister of Migration and Displacement directed Othman Al-Ghanimi Agency to provide support and assistance to the displaced families whose tents were exposed to a fire accident in Dohuk.
The ministry said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "Al-Ghanimi stressed the need to expedite and work immediately to provide support and assistance to the displaced families who were exposed, today, Saturday, to a fire accident in the (Bajid Kendala) camp in the Samil district in Dohuk governorate, which As a result, 14 tents were burnt as a result of an electrical short, without any casualties.”
In addition to that, "The ministry's cadres, in coordination with the directorate and the camp administration, secured 40 full tents with their accessories for the affected families, in addition to providing relief aid in the form of food and health baskets."
