Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemned, today, Friday, the incident that affected a diplomatic wheel belonging to the Australian Embassy in Baghdad, while affirming its commitment to protecting missions.
"The Ministry of Foreign Affairs deplores the incident that affected a diplomatic wheel belonging to the Australian Embassy in Baghdad, which did not result in injuries," Foreign Ministry spokesman Ahmed Al-Sahaf said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA).
He added, "The ministry expresses its solidarity with the Australian side, and affirms its full commitment to the Vienna Convention on regulating relations, protecting the cadres and buildings of diplomatic missions, and facilitating their work in a way that enhances joint work."
