The Supreme Judicial Council-SJC announced on Tuesday, issuing a 15-year prison sentence for a terrorist who participated in the attack on security forces.
"Anbar Criminal Court issued a 15-year prison sentence against a terrorist for participating in attacks of the security forces in Fallujah," SJC said in a statement, received by The Iraqi News Agency (INA).
The statement added "The terrorist belonged to Daesh terrorist gangs, and was attributed to work in Yarmouk Division, the southern sector, as a fighter in the attack detachments against the security forces in Fallujah.”
"The verdict comes in accordance with the provisions of Article 4/1 and in the light of Articles 2/3 and 5 of the Anti-Terrorism Law No. 13 of 2005," the statement mentioned.
