A senior security and government delegation visited Wednesday the Al-Mondhiriya border port, to review the security measures there.
The reporter of the Iraqi News Agency (INA) said that "A senior security and government delegation that included the Deputy Commander of Joint Operations, Lieutenant General Abdul Amir Al-Shamri, head of the Border Ports Authority Omar Al-Waeli, Director of Popular Mobilization Operations, Deputy Commander of the Land Forces and a number of security leaders, visited the Al-Mondhiriya border port."
INA reporter added, "The visit came to oversee the security measures at the port, about receiving visitors for the Arba'een of Imam Hussein, peace be upon him, and the security preparations within the Diyala operations sector."
He also added, "The commander of Diyala operations, the director of Diyala police, the commander of the Popular Mobilization Forces in Diyala and the director of the border ports were at the reception of the delegation."
